Every 2 years on the last Sunday in September, more than 1500 vehicles line up to play their part in a procession of vehicles from Glenelg (Bay) to Birdwood, which celebrates the history and culture of motoring. There are two events under this title and they are each held in alternate years, the SA Water Bay to Birdwood Run, for pre-1950 vehicles, is the biggest motoring event in the Southern Hemisphere and will be next held In September, 2005.
